It is time for Fabulously Frugal again which runs from each Sunday and shares some fab ways that people like us are being frugal. I co host with the fab Jen who blogs at Mum in the mad house and Cass. I love co hosting with them as we are all quite different and blog about different wasys to save. I envy Jen’s creative skills as she does lots of craft and Cass oftenn has food posts that make my tastes buds tingle!
This week I have had a clothes sort out. You know how some days you look at think I have got so bored of that! Therefore I have had a bit of a splurge. I found some good discount codes that saved me money in Boden and I used up some vouchers I have been holding onto since my birthday.
I am quite good and when II get new things I do ensure that I get rid of things too. I usually sort the childrens clothes into two piles one for passing to cousins and one for charity. My things tend to go straight to the local charity shop. However my jenas actually had holes in. Not the designer type holes that you buy the jeans with but worn out holes. Therefore I loved this post from Keeping life Sane on what you could do with old jeans. One of my friends always does things like this – makes bags etc and I really need to make the time to do the same. My nan taught me how to sew and I don’t utilise the skill enough. However this project with Recycled jeans is quite simple and anyone could have a go.
Do share your frugal posts to the linky and lets see how you save.
