We are rolling towards Black Friday which promises to bring lots of bargains to be had. I have started thinking about what I am hoping to snap up. This week I have made a few good savings in my quest to be frugal.
- Today is Erin’s birthday. I now have an eight-year-old. We always go out for a meal on the children’s birthday and Erin has chosen TGI. By registering for their birthday programme I received a voucher that gives us free deserts. I am going to have one happy girl tomorrow night!
- Secondly, I was in Tesco at the right time tonight and managed to get a number of yellow stickered sandwiches and pots of fruit. This will see the kids through for the next couple of days.
- I wrote some tongue in cheek tips on how to make the most of Black Friday. This will organise you so that you make the best of the bargains.
- If you have been following my internal debate on whether to buy my son a £200 jumper you will love this deal! I went shopping in Birmingham and could not find the boys size anywhere. I found the jumper in a menswear shop priced £225. Being 13 he fits into small men or large boys. I realised that the brand went up to age 14 and of course it’s significantly cheaper than buying menswear. Yet it is very hard to get hold of. Well Base Fashion actually has boys wear Stone Island in stock. The jumper was £115. I then found a discount code ‘Troops10’ to get a further 10% off and free delivery. Therefore I bought the jumper for £103 which is half the price of the men’s jumper I so nearly bought!
Do let me know what you buy!
