Finally March is here and with it the promise of Spring. As of this moment, you are probably sitting at your desk worrying about deadlines, presentations or about life in general, but planning an awesome summer trip has probably crossed your minds once or twice.
You are so excited to fix your travel documents and planning an awesome itinerary. For instance, you can start buying travel insurance now, maybe plan a shopping trip Hong Kong and then cap it off with a beach trip to the Fiji Islands. Well, whatever plans you have laid out, you should know what to pack for the beach.
Some people would think that packing for a hot summer beach trip is straightforward because it is not as complicated as a week’s worth of sightseeing. In other words, there are not a lot of unexpected travel twists and turns to be had on a beach. But just to be safe and sure, we have listed down some of the essential items you need to have packed and ready for that much-deserved beach break.
Get the layers off your wardrobe
It is the summer season, you just have to wear clothes that are loose and lightweight. With the kind of heat you can experience in tropical countries, you would be glad you took off your later. What you need are clothes that can protect you from the blazing heat of the sun so you would not have to suffer a heat stroke while you are at the beach. Do not worry about it ruining your aesthetics because loose clothes like a kimono usually come in different styles, you will definitely find something that fits yours.
Do not forget the swimsuit
Swimsuits will probably be one of the first things you will pack for sure. When you are heading out to the beach, remember that any kind of swimsuit is acceptable, so do not stress over which kind is appropriate to use. You can opt for a tankini, one-suit, bikini, or whatever style you are comfortable to use.
The best thing about swimsuits is choosing the colours and patterns they are going to come in. However, a basic swimsuit will always be chic and fashionable. For instance, a single block colour can go will with any extra type of clothing you are planning to bring with you on the beach. More importantly, though, you need to choose a swimsuit that will make you feel confident when you are wearing it. The beach is supposed to be a fun place, just keep doing you!
Bring sandals or flip-flops
The sand will also be hot, your feet will definitely feel the burn if you do not have proper beach footwear. Flip-flops and sandals are the footwear of choice because they are practical, light, and who would want to wear sneakers and boots on the beach? They are also comfortable and easy to wear, especially if you have just gone out of the water and are rushing to get your hands on your beach lunch.
Wear a hat
Hats will make you feel cool and replaced on the beach even if the heat is smouldering. The most common beach hat is the oversized 70s beach hat, and it will definitely well with any kind of beachwear you have paired with oversized sunglasses. So not only are you protected from the heat, but you will definitely look mighty fine doing it.
So leave the stress for a bit and come down to the beach. Soak up in sand, sea, and a whole lot of sun.
