Only my teen daughter would be able to convince me just a matter of weeks before Christmas that she needs a new iPhone. To be fair to her I had bought her phone second hand two years ago. It was past its best, well the battery was, and she had looked after it really well. It was still in great condition which meant that I was happier to get her an upgrade deal on contract knowing that she is careful. Obviously accidents happen as I discovered when I smashed my iPhone recently! We will also trade her in her old phone which goes towards this current contract.
With her new phone it was then great timing that POP got back in touch with me to let me know about their new services and products. I first reviewed POP Books when they launched and loved the idea of having mini photo books delivered for under £5. The quality and service were all great then and I was intrigued to see how they had grown and developed.
They have made the following changes to their service:
1. Improvements to the photo cropping feature.
We have now made it easier for you to crop and position the
images within your POP BOOK.
2. Friends and family purchase.
You can now make the POP BOOK that you created available for
others to buy. For example, friends and family members.
3. Reorder previous POP BOOK’S.
It is now possible for you to order additional copies of POP
BOOKs you had previously made from your ‘My Account’ area on

on Facebook the cover of your POP BOOK is now displayed in the
5. Photo selection & deselection
We have made improvements to the way you select and deselect
images; it is now a much easier process.
6. Overhaul of the text editing tool.
When building a POP BOOK you can add text to the images, we
have reviewed this feature and made enhancements to it.
7. Discount on larger orders
We are now introducing discounts on orders of larger quantity
of POP BOOKs.
However I was also really excited by their new product which is personalised phone and tablet cases. They asked if I’d like to try the service which of course Chloe did for her new iPhone. To create the case you simply go to Pop Cover select your phone or tablet type. Secondly you choose the type of case required, I have gone for tough matte as I want as much protection for the iphone as possible! Next you upload your image from either your laptop or social media sites. Chloe choose a photo of her and Erin for her cover. The whole process is so quick and easy. The covers are made of very high specification Amorphous Polymers, the same materials which are used on space missions and on bicycle helmets. The molds precisely match the dimensions of devices to ensure the best possible fit.
We can’t wait to see the finished cover and I will add a photo of it as soon as it arrives which will be before Christmas. The case we selected cost £19.99 and if you order before the 18th of December it will be with you in time for Christmas.
UPDATE: As promised it arrived very quickly and in time to go in the stocking! The cover is really well made and looks great on her phone.
