I spend a small fortune on clothes, I have a penchant for seeing my children in designer labels and although fast fashion from the supermarkets initially look good I often find they don’t last as well. This causes me a corundum as I am committed to saving money but also expect quality. Therefore this week when I spotted a John Lewis skirt in Erin’s size I snaffled it up for the bargain price of £2.50. It has been a while since I bought clothes from a charity shop but the prices seem the same and have not increased as much as they appear to on the high street.
Erin is a a little difficult to dress, trousers do not suit her shape and she is very fussy about what she likes. We tend to opt for leggins, dresses and skirts. We both like polka dots so my ‘new’ buy was approved of by the little lady herself! I think buying second hand is great especially for playing in the garden and at nursery. It means I am not precious about things getting ruined. I also love these photo’s of Erin playing outside – it is a reminder of how far she has come since having hip dysplasia.
