Bargain Shopping Haul – my picks from January

January 25, 2016 by EmmaB 10 Comments

For many January is a bleak month, the month after the festive season, it is cold and wet and not much happening.  Yet for me it is one of my favourite shopping months.  January is the month I stock up.  Many enjoy the rush of the Jan sales but I wait – I hold off until the middle and end of the month when the sales hit 70% off.

Here are my favourite sale picks from January

  1. Erin loves clothes and I like clothes that not all her friends are wearing.  Therefore I often buy her clothes in designer shops – but in the sale.  Remember being frugal is for everyone, it is not always about buying cheap but about living within your economics or not being wasteful.  I bought Erin this fab Hello Apparel top in the sale for £12. The top looks fab with her leggings and I love the monochrome look.
  2. IMG_1490I also found these fab socks from Mini Dressing that were in the sale. They are just too cute and will look amazing in the spring but fro now Erin has chosen to wear them over more leggings!

  1. How damn cute are these socks! We are off for a breakfast this morning at @TableTable before a busy morning

    3. Accessorize is one of my favourite shops during their 70% off sale and I stocked up on tights and socks for Chloe and myself. I also bought myself a gorgeous scarf.  I always buy my scarves from accesorize in the sales and I often put one away in my bottom drawer for presents during the year.

  2. Couldn't resist @accessorize 70% off either!! Always need socks, tights and scarves! #sale #bargain #bargainshopper

  3. Finally the Boots sale which is always on the the third Wednesday after Christmas is used to replenish my present drawer.  This year I was there at opening time and was really pleased with my buys.  However I did miss out the Jack Wills rucksack I would have liked as there were only a few in Gloucester and they were quickly grabbed! My favourite buys are the No7 makeup bits and the PJ’s

Just love the Boots 70% off sale. What did you get @tiredmummyoftwo and @littlelilypadco? #bargain #sale #epig #Boots

Did you get any great buys in the sales?  I usually do well in Joules too but this year I didn’t get there on the right day!

I love the Accessorise sale too, but I missed Boots this year…looks like you did brilliantly though.

Ahh I love a good sale bargain post. I didn’t really get much this year, as I’m currently in between jobs so just don’t have the funds. You’ve done really well!

Great bargains! I got a couple of things in Boots to treat myself, a sanctuary set and a Champneys set, both at hugely reduced prices so I was chuffed 🙂

Oh wow, you managed to do really well with the Boots sale, everything I had on my list to get never appeared in the sale, so I managed to save my points x

You’ve picked up some great bits in the sales. I only picked up a few things for the new baby this year. I got those socks for my son online too, they were just €1 with free postage – bargain!
