This Christmas we are enjoying making some decorations for our tree at home. My How to Make A Rag Wreath for under £5 is always popular demonstrating that many of us like a Christmas project. So whether you like to make fingerprint Christmas cards or natural decorations Christmas is the perfect time to get your creativity on.
Now we are making a wool bauble but this could inspire you to make a number of different baubles. Start by stocking up on
Supplies Needed:
4 Balls of wool (Or however many colours you’d like)
Clear Bauble Ornaments with removable tops

Instructions:
To make these wool bauble ornaments start by grabbing your clear empty globe.

Remove the top from the ornament and start to fill with one colour of your yarn. It takes a surprisingly large amount of yarn to make one layer.
Once you are happy with the first layer, start by adding another colour of yarn on top of the first layer.

Continue until your clear ornaments are filled to the top with the yarn.
Cap your ornament and add a pretty ribbon.

Tips:
Use a pencil or thin pen to help push the wool down into the bauble ornament every so often as you work.
If making multiple ornaments, try making the layers different thickness for each one to keep a uniform, but interesting look.
Have fun with your bauble colours. Consider the colours of a loved one’s favorite sports team or recent favourite colours. Placing leftover yarn from a special gift such as a baby blanket would be a sweet moment as a Christmas ornament.
