Bargain beauty buys

April 5, 2015 by EmmaB 9 Comments

I love make up and skincare products but I am very frugal about buying them.  I don’t think I’m really a high maintenance type of woman but I do like to have good make up and use quite expensive products.  I’m at aan age where I am starting to feel the ageing process!! Previously I shared How I got £102 beauty products for £17.99 but more recently I have become aware of buying beauty bargains in one of my favourite stores.

TKMaxx in Cheltenham has undergone a refit and it has made the store much easier for browsing.  It was just before Christmas when I bought some beauty buys having found some nice nail varnishes for the teen.  Then I squealed in delight when I found a bargain that I have been coveting for a while.  Whenever I am at duty free or see samples of Elizabeth Arden capsules I will help myself but can never really justify spending the besst part of £60 on them (not frugal atall!)

I spotted some Elizabeth Arden beauty products on a stand in TK Maxx and knew that at £29.99 I would buy them. I bought a set that had 60 capsules and an eye cream. I use the capsules every other day to make them last longer and my skin is feeling amazing from using them. Once I have slathered it on my face I will then run my fingers through my hair as the leftovers make an amazing serum and I also wipe down Erin’s hair or ponytail as she has the craziest head of hair known to a five year old!  Therefore I suggest checking out TK Maxx for bargain price premium beauty brands.

As I love products and makeup I liked this post on DIY gorgeous lashes from last weeks linky.  Do share your frugal ways in this weeks linky.

I wouldn’t have thought of going to T K Maxx for high end beauty, so I’ll bear that in mind.

I do love having the time to have a wander around TK Maxx but I do have to keep away from my weakness – Kipling bags!

TK Maxx is great isn’t it and this is a real bargain. I have noticed that some of the more high end products do work well now that I’m getting on a bit but I don’t want to pay a fortune!
