Essential Travel Toiletries Medicines Checklist

July 23, 2017 by EmmaB 1 Comment

Many of us are well accustomed to shopping online.  We order clothes that we can try on at home rather than in a cramped communal changing room.  We order toys because we don’t want to carry them back to the car or we want them to arrive without the children’s prying eyes.  However, do you order medicines and toiletries online? If not you can now use my Essential Travel Toiletries Medicines Checklist to be prepared for future holidays and trips. Download the list and then order online from Chemist.co.uk for ease.

This year I decided to get organised for my holiday early.  I made life easier for myself by ordering all of our holiday essentials to be delivered to my door by Chemist.co.uk.  They stock everything a family needs but I focussed on my holiday essentials. In addition to the convenience, I was really surprised with the price.  It was cheaper than where I usually get my holiday toiletries from and I was able to get prescribed medications too.

My children have a few health conditions that mean I need to carry medication with me.  Erin is an asthmatic and we carry steroids as she has become poorly on holiday in the past.  Likewise, Dylan has some great allergies to contend with so I need enough of his medications in case he has an outbreak when away.  Then I also take the usual hangover cures! In the past, this has resulted in travel anxiety if I am not prepared for all eventualities.  I have done to many dashes to a chemist and it is hard when speaking a different language.

Buying suncream and after sun is always really expensive in the resort as they know that you will need it.  Therefore it is always cheaper to buy suncream before you travel.

In addition to medicines, it is easy to forget the usual shampoo, conditioner and hair car.  I actually buy more hair protection because the sun really dries my hair out.

If you worry about forgetting to pack some of those travel toiletries you can print off my handy downloadable  Travel Toiletries Checklist.  This will help you stay organised and not be paying premium prices when you are in resort.

This is perfect – just what I need as I’ve just got the suitcases out of the garage for our holiday!
