There is a great competition over at Mint Velvet this month where someone will win £250 to spend. Now I like entering competitions and could really do with the win as I need a new outfit for the MAD Blog awards that I am a finalist in next month. I have a dress for the evening award ceremony but I am meeting a sponsor for lunch and also having afternoon cocktails so I need something befitting of the occasion!
Therefore I have put together a pinterest board of my top to do list. I have talked about travelling and that I haven’t done as much as I would like. Partly because of having children at a young age but also because the travel bug has certainly stirred me more now I am approaching 40.
One of my top destinations to visit is Mexico. I want to experience the culture, see the vibrancy, eat the food and drink tequila whilst the sun sets.

Pinterest is the social media platform for all things pretty and tonight I have lost hours there thinking about Mexico and dreaming about when I visit. This summer I have been lucky enough to go on a beach holiday and I totally embraced the beach cover up look. I think if you have one you can travel really light and not wear much else during the day. Plus they keep you cool. I really liked the selection at Mint Velvet. Wide trousers also became my summer wardrobe staple they are easy to team with a cami top for dinner in the evening.

I am dreaming of visiting Bali next year but going to Korea this thursday so will just have to settle for that for now. I love simple and light clothes when I travel

I am a comping addict and happy to admit that. I really like it when I win and have a stash of christmas presents from prises won for my children already saving me pennies xxx I really really want to go to New York , may be one day.
I would love to visit Mexico, I missed out on travelling really between study and children I would think that my travel bug will have to wait until I’m a little bit older!

I would love to visit Petra in Jordan as it looks so stunning there. I think these places that have historical features stand out to me and are something that no doubt, would stay in your memories forever
