Five Fabulously Frugal Thing’s I’ve Done Linky

It is Friday again and time for another frugal post. This week I have made some good savings on things including Chloe’s new phone deal.

Getting a phone upgrade is a pretty exciting time, but I often can’t be bothered with ringing through and questioning the offer.  However Chloe is due an upgrade so she looked at what offers are about.  She found the deal she wanted for an iPhone 6.  I then rang Vodafone her provider and told them what offers we had seen.  The initial sales person could not get that deal for us but offered an iPhone 6S deal that was over what I wanted to pay.  I asked to speak to someone more senior and was put through.  The next person agreed to what I asked for and gave us a great deal and added in the discounts I wanted.  The result is a new iPhone 6S for Chloe, for less than I am currently paying for her old phone!

I queued last Friday to be in the first 25 people into the new Jack Wills store.  This meant that I got a goody bag.  Due to a bit of a mix up the goody bags were not actually in store but it is now waiting for me to pick up tomorrow.  I am hoping there will be some bits I can use as stocking fillers!

I also bought a pair of joggers in the outlet store which meant I got them for £20 instead of £44.  Huge baragin on something I really needed.

Finally it has been a tough week and my favourite wine (Yellow Tail – if you are interested) is on offer in tesco.  Result every time!
