I really enjoy travelling and often find myself picking up a souvenir when on holiday that helps keep the memories fresh. We bought a wooden turtle on our honeymoon for example that sits by our front door meaning we see it several times a day. When away on holiday I love taking a peek into the local community and watching how the locals live. We visit Spain often and as we wonder the local streets I cannot help but peek through the often wide open front doors. In Spain I admire the often tiled floors. They usually are very pretty and intricate. Almost too good to walk on!
I have been inspired to write this post after seeing an amazing competition from Cunard that is being hosted on Love Chic Living. Bloggers have been challenged to put together a pinterest board that remind you of one of Cunards destinations. One of those destinations that we have previously visited is Lindos in Rhodes, Greece. Now we were there for a family wedding and as such we spent the time with family and it was a beautiful, romantic holiday. It is a very traditional Greek destination, where we often ate in rooftop restuarants overlooking the beautiful town. The picturesque houses dot the landscape whilst the sea sparkles around the edges. Lindos was lovely for a small family wedding and we enjoyed a boat trip after where we drank more than enough champagne.
Therfore for this competition I decided to share some of the Greek interiors that I recall. Next year we plan to decorate our living room and I would love a white minimal theme. Lee is not quite agreement with me yet – having three children he doesn’t agree that soft creams are the best choice. However for the purpose of this I have gone with my dreams and created a board that reflects my perfect living room. Well a girl can dream right??

My board shows many of the interior style I covert – not necessarily all of it, at the same time in one room – that may just be a little too busy. I like the geometrical shapes used and the clock is probably one of my favourite things along with the sofa and chair. Maybe there is room to negotiate with Lee on a little bit of cream.
