Finally the weather seemss to have picked up a little this week which means we have managed trips to the park. The weather really affects how much I spend on entertaining the children during the school holidays.
This weeks I have had a good week on the money saving front and I will share
- I have started doing more excersise and have a personal trainer. I am also going to a kettlebell class and wanted to be able to do the same excerises at home. Therefore when I went to a local car boot sale at the weekend I asked my husband to look out for a kettlebell. I was really pleased to find one for £1 as they are about £10 new.
- I have also bought magazines to get the free subscription gift this included Elle to get free benefit makeup! You also save on the cost of the magazine.
Good Housekeeping have an offer at the moment where new subscribers get three free recipe books. Which is a great freebie and worth checking out by clicking the banner below.
- I have also been making ice lollies at home. These are cheaper to make and much healthier. I simply whizzed up some fruit and added the mixture to the molds. I let that freeze and then added the Vita Coco Coconut milk and again popped them in the freezer. This keeps the two flavours from mixing. These lollies are free from all sugar and something I don’t mind Erin snacking on.

- I managed to get a free spa day yesterday! Chloe had bought a spa day for a friends birthday via groupon and it was for four people. I made up the fourth for them to make sure they got in ok. Obviously I was not not allowed to sit with them but hey ho.

That magazine offer looks really good. I actually read any I want for free through my library service. I am not sure if this is just Essex or all libraries do it. However, sometimes it is nice to read an actual paper copy.
