Advent calendars can be really good value for money if you choose the right one. I think I have found the one that is the best value for money. I mentioned on Friday in Five Fabulously Frugal things I’ve done that I had treated myself to the Marks and Spencer Advent Calendar because it only costs £35 yet has over £250 worth of products. The advent calendar is literally stuffed full of premium beauty brands including my favourite Nuxe Oil and Burt’s Bee’s lipbalm.
The Marks and Spencer Advent Calendar is available from Marks and Spencer once you have spent £35 in the store or online. This was easily done for me I bought Dylan a hoodies and Erin a cute dress. Another alternative is to buy christmas presents that are on 3 for 2 and then you get even more of a bargain.
If you would like to see what is included and the size of each product watch my unboxing video.
I remember advent calendars with just a picture behind the window! I then thought chocolate Advents were game changers and now there is everything from beauty, gin and lego! What is all that about? It makes the countdown to Christmas even more fun in my eyes!
Advent calendars are definitely for all the family now and not just for the kids! My children are after the smiggle one and I am not surprised considering it is full of fun stationery products that teens love.
What do you think? Are you tempted? It seems on Facebook groups that many think this is an expensive treat. However, I think it offers good value for money. The Marks and Spencer Advent Calendar is often featured by MSE and Martin Lewis because they believe it is a good deal.
