I have always been a reader, devouring book after book.  This love seems to be genetic with the littlest  also loves stories of any kind.  Therefore when we received the hardback anniversary book of How to Catch a Star which is available at Amazon for £12.99. The story tells the tale of a boy and the boy loved stars very much. Every night he watched the stars from his window and wished he had one of his very own…

The story first appeared 10 years ago but is still much loved today. The book is aimed at children aged 2-7 who are adventure seeking. To celebrate the anniversary I have been given one copy to host a giveaway. To enter all I want you to do is tell me your favourite childhood story in the comments below.

The competition will close on the 19th April at Midnight.

My favourite childhood book was called the Northern Lights. It was written through the eyes of a little girl. Everyone in this world had daemons, which were animals, some of the daemons could transform into other animals. Her uncle is an explorer who goes around the world. An evil lady, who at first the reader likes is actually kidnapping children and experimenting on them and their daemon by splitting them apart. This makes the children almost lose their minds. The girl, Lyra, travels up to where the children are being kidnapped and she gets kidnapped herself. Her uncle turns up and saves her. The witches and the people who have helped her on the way turn up and go to free the children. There’s a lot more to it.
