5 Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done Linky

How is it Friday again? Come to think of it how is it October. This year has been challenging on every level as the whole world knows but it is still whizzing by. It definitely feels chilly this week and with that in mind, I have been thinking about ways to keep the house warm when working from home. I find I get headaches at this time of the year when I start putting the heating on – does anyone else get that?

I guess it is dehydration and is a warning to up my water intake. Good job I have the Fluidstance that I keep on my desk each day when I am working. Fillup™ is your very own Water Tower™, keeping a personal supply of water right at your fingertips. Our 70-oz. size holds a full day’s supply, and Fillup’s double-walled tank keeps water cold for 24 hours. Fillup can be used anywhere: on your desk—whether at home or in the office, on your bedside table, in your kitchen, on your back patio, and more.

Five Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done

Firstly I have started on Christmas decorations! Yes really! Erin and I will be having a homemade Christmas where possible. We are making homemade gifts for friends and tree decorations. This is frugal but it also is fun and time-consuming! I am trying to reduce her time on the iPad because she loves crafting and I want to encourage this. We started this week with these super easy Macrame Rainbow’s.

Secondly I have saved money this week by cancelling some direct debits for magazines and subcriptions that I don’t need. This is a useful thing to check every few months as we get lazy and just keep subbed when really we don’t need to!

Three I have bought an advent calendar. Now that may not appear money-saving but…if you do your research you can get a great deal. I have bought a beauty one for £40 but it has £160 worth of products in. I am wanting the Look Fantastic advent calendar too.

With an amazing worth of over £460, you can get your hands on the LOOKFANTASTIC Advent Calendar today for just £85! That’s a HUGE saving of £375!

Next I saved by not taking my purse on the school run. This sounds a little whoo whoo but it means that I don’t get tempted to pop into the local shop on the way home! It has saved me on buying treats and wine this week as I then can’t be bothered to go out again! Especially if it is raining!

We’d like to make this a great little community linky so it would be brilliant if you could comment on a couple of the other blog posts linked up. We’ll make sure that we comment on all posts and if you have a Pinterest friendly image then we’ll Pin your post to one of our boards too.
