It’s been a while since my linky posts were regular but the summer broke me! Having Chloe home from University threw my routine right out of the window. But I am back with my money-saving examples as I think it is important to show that I do what I preach!

This week I have saved so money in a number of ways. Firstly I spent Monday learning how to match bet with an expert. A full tutorial is coming soon that shows exactly what it is all about.
Secondly I saved money by understanding how Pay-as-you-go-car-insurance-from-bymiles works. This saves consumers who don’t drive lots of miles a year.
Sticking with the car theme we got Chloe a great deal on her car insurance. She has just taken ownership of a new to her car and by adding her on our multicar policy we reduced her best quote. Did you know that often by adding yourself as a named driver it reduces your young adult’s premiums too? This means everything is in her name but it reduces if you have a young adult or newly passed driver in the home.
Next money was saved this week when Dylan sold some of his too small designer clothes in order to buy new clothes. I think it is really important to teach my teenagers the value of money in this way.
We’d like to make this a great little community linky so it would be brilliant if you could comment on a couple of the other blog posts linked up. We’ll make sure that we comment on all posts and if you have a Pinterest friendly image then we’ll Pin your post to one of our boards too.
You’re more than welcome to copy and paste the badge above but it would be even better if you could let your readers know that you’re linking up with us by adding a little line to the bottom of your post like this one:
I’m linking up with Cass, Emma and Becky in this week’s ‘Five Fabulously Frugal things I’ve done this week linky.
Every week we share five frugal things that we’ve done during that week just to show you that the small things you do all add up to a great frugal lifestyle where you can learn to live a fabulously frugal life. We’d love you to link up with us and show us what you’ve been doing.
Always good to shop around with car insurance but isn’t it expensive for teens!!! I couldn’t get my head round matched betting and decided it wasn’t my thing but I see it’s even on TV ads these days
