This week I seem to have spent lots of money on food but not much else. Having the house full with schools closed and eldest not going back to university has definately increased our food bill. Plus the heating has been on constant with cries of I’m cold, put the heating on!

Lockdown saves me money in many ways – no more coffees out and about but it can still be expensive.
One thing I’ve seen this week are people desperately needing old laptops for their children’s learning as there is now more of an expectation that learning will be online. If you have an old device many charities are cleaning them and getting them working again and passing them on to families in need. It is wonderful to see people coming together like this.
I have also seen that Morrisons are still doing the pre packaged up bags for those in food poverty. If you can when you are doing your shopping remember the food banks etc at this time who are more in demand than ever before. Everything donation will help another family out.
5 Fabulously Frugal Things I’ve Done this week

I have started running again, its great excersise and of course free to run in the great outdoors!
Sticking with fitness Aldi have come out on top with affordable fitness equipment that can be used at home. They have slam balls, weights and more to kit out your home workouts!
Degusta is a great way to try new foods at a good price. They are basically surprise boxes. Click the ad below to take you to the website.
