We all like a cashback deal and it is getting even better with a clever new app from Quidco. As many know Quidco gives cashback on most things you buy online, you simply shop through Quidco and you benefit with cashback which you can then withdraw into your account. Brewers Fayre offers good value for families
This term has been a busy one and it seems that we have had very little family time. The children have been adjusting new routines and teachers and this first term is always a pretty exhausting one I find. Chloe has been busy doing coursework, Dylan settling to a new school and Erin finding her feet in Yr1 which seems to be more work and a lot less playing. Therefore it was lovely to be invited to go and try the new Autumn Menu and the popular … [Read more...]
How get free Disney dining in Florida.
Visiting Florida and DisneyWorld is a dream come true. I have so many wonderful memories of our two trips. Taking Erin was a magical experience and she still talks about it now. Highlights include Frozen at my favourite park Hollywood Studios. It also has my favourite rides there which includes the Areosmith ride and the Tower of Terror. The Tower of Terror was probably my favourite although I wasn't sure before getting into the … [Read more...]
Tesco paid me to take their food home!
It is Sunday which means once again I went on a reduced food find at my local Tesco's. It was really quiet today and I had a great selection available. This meant that I learnt something new today! I had bought heavily reduced meat, two packets of mince at 23p each and hunters chicken at 20p. As the food was being scanned I realised it was knocking more money off than usual. The meat was on a three for £10 deal but although my meat only came to … [Read more...]

Therefore I very much enjoyed Cass's post on making mint lemonade and I also spotted that Aly shared Fruit infused water and thought I'd try this over the next week as I am attempting to drink more water again. I also made a very quick video this morning as I made yet another smoothie to … [Read more...]

Eating healthy on a budget
I try to eat healthy but often fall off the diet wagon. Therefore I thought I'd share a couple of my cheap tricks and try to motivate myself again. One thing that the children and I love are smoothies but we all know those at Costa are full of sugar and are very expensive. Therefore we make our own which are much cheaper. I can make enough for all of us for the price of one in Costa. I now freeze fruit that I find in reduced aisle as … [Read more...]
How to Make a Chocolate Card: The Unique Birthday Card
It was my birthday yesterday and I had been rubbish at giving everyone ideas this year. I really struggled to think of anything I actually wanted or needed. Yet my amazing kids delivered this fabulous homemade chocolate card. My teen kept asking and then she suggested a pandora charm which was very sweet of her but I told her that I didn't want her to spend that much of her pocket on me and to just get me something little or better still … [Read more...]
