I sit typing this from a hospital ward where I have spent the last 24 hours with Dylan.  Some will know that he is afflicated with some rather nasty conditions including the herpes simplex virus which he gets around his eyes.  It is the same as cold sores except his often get infected as the skin around the eyes is so fragile.
